C++ Software Developer 
Location: San Jose, California
Hours: Full-Time
What we are looking for
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent, with 3 or more years of experience in enterprise application development. (Outstanding recent graduates of an M.Sc. program in Computer Science are also invited to apply)
- Solid experience in C++. Thorough understanding of multi-threading, memory management, and inter process communication. Experience with STL. Experience in working with LDAP/RDBMS.
- Experience in Object Oriented design. Familiarity with UML tools. Some architectural experience.
- Familiarity with both Unix/Linux and Windows required (e.g. build tools, basic system administration incl. some scripting).
- Familiarity with networking and security concepts (routing, high availability, QoS, NAT, access-control, VPN, vulnerability management) a plus.
- Ability to program in Java in addition to C++ is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
Details of Skills & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the development of new features and maintenance of key modules of a distributed security and systems management software used to manage configurations of large networks. As such, the candidate must have experience with all aspects of the software development life-cycle, including requirement, specification, test planning, development, testing and documentation. The system is distributed across multiple servers and locations, for high-availability and performance, with a synchronization mechanism based on messaging to coordinate the activities of the various components. The front-end (GUI, Business logic, synchronization) is implemented in Java. The back-end (communication with network devices, gathering monitoring and health data) is implemented in C++. You will own some pieces of the C++ based part of the system, and contribute to the other parts through joint design sessions, code reviews, etc.
Senior Network Engineer 
Location: San Jose, California
Hours: Full-Time
What we are looking for
- BA/BS in a computer related field required.
- Must have understanding of and ability to setup network security, RADIUS, Certificate Authorities, PKI, and firewall.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in WAN technologies such as MPLS, Frame Relay, ATM, DSL, T1, and Cable.
- Must be proficient with troubleshooting tools including ping, traceroute, dig, telnet, and ftp.
- Working knowledge of DNS and BIND required.
- Must be familiar with installation and use of one of the major network management consoles.
- Strong teaming/interpersonal skills and good communication skills required.
- Excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills required.
- Must be a self-starter and able to learn rapidly.
Details of Skills & Responsibilities
You will play a key role in network design and trouble-shooting. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot our customers’ networking equipment using networking diagnostic tools and UNIX and Windows System Administration skills. You will be working hands on with Cisco, Check Point, and Nortel products and with the major SNMP based consoles (HP, Tivoli, CA, Mircomuse) and develop cost estimates for network hardware/software configurations. The job includes deploying and fine-tuning web servers in a clustered and fail-safe topology.
Sales Engineer (Government Customers) 
Location: San Jose, California
Hours: Full-Time
What we are looking for
- 4 or more years of experience in pre-sales support of software or networking products
- 2 years of government selling and support experience
- Experience in creating software demos and proof-of-concept models concept development to presentation
- Familiarity with security and networking concepts a plus
- Current security clearances a big plus
- Able to work independently, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Able to work in a high pressure environment.
- Willingness to travel in the continental US and occasionally to EMEA
- Prior start-up experience plus.

Details of Skills & Responsibilities
You will oversee pre-sale and/or post-sale support of company products/systems and provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. You will provide answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications and provides software development and consultation to prospective users. You will use rapid prototyping to demonstrate feasibility of the application in specific customer situations.
Communication skills and management of customer relationships are essential. Ability to set up processes, document them, and work with customers is critical.

Product Manager 
Location: San Jose, California
Hours: Full-Time
What we are looking for
- BA/BS in technology, marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
- Must 4-6 years in product development in the networking and security space.
- Experience in marketing networking technologies and applications. Experience with virtualization a plus.
- Experience in direct work with sophisticated customers on technical, managerial and executive levels.
- Experience in the analysis and documentation of requirements for corporate IT.
- Experience in marketing and selling to government and/or service provider customers a strong plus.
- Experience with web-based and community-oriented marketing approaches a big plus
- Strong understanding of Internet and networking technology.

You will develop and execute integrated marketing plans, lead cross-functional marketing and engineering teams, and will ensure progress toward overall milestones. You will be responsible for product positioning; will define and implement new product strategies. Will drive technical and new product requirements and product enhancements. Conduct on-going and migration/upgrade/product change programs with customers. Perform competitive feature, price/cost and margin analysis for the relevant markets. Examine competitors, new markets, and technology to propose action. Forecast product demand (unit, revenue) and market share. Manages product launches and transitions.
